It just seems too hot to crank up the sewing machine. So, I'll show you one I did when it was cooler weather. Hand appliqued, hand quilted. I think my favorite square was the little boy going fishing.
This is the cutest little farmer boy. I had such fun making it for my grandson, Owen.
Very cute quilt! I think the little fisherboy is my favourite too. It's hot here too! Hopefully it will cool down a bit this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe got a bit of relief from the high temps and humidity for a couple days, but it's back with a vengeance again. Great for the growing corn, not so good for people.
ReplyDeleteWe have our first grandson due any day, and I'd love to make an adorable little quilt like this for him someday. Interesting--I checked for patterns online, and I see that sometimes he's called Overall Bill and other times Overall Sam. I thought he was Overall Dan. Must depend upon what part of the country we're in.
