Big Sale Going On

I've been such a bad blogger.... and a pitiful quilter.  Life is just moving right along and things are changing. I know that my life as a quilter is getting shorter by the day.

I haven't done much in the way of quilting lately. Hard to cut, hard to sew, my hands are going, going, gone. (soon anyway) and I would get so overwhelmed everytime I would go into my quilt studio and see all that fabric (not that I had much) and wouldn't know where to start or what to do.

So, I got smart and developed a plan. I'd eliminate all the 'extra' stuff in that room and just concentrate on a few projects I know that I can do before I have to give it up completely. Smart thinking, I say.

I have been at work for 2 days now and still have a ways to go to get it all done. What am I gonna do with my STUFF, the stuff I don't want.

1. I could sell it on ebay.

2. I could see if anyone at quilt bee wants any of it. But, we are pretty much overrun with 'extras' already.

3. I could throw it all in the trash can. But, most of the books and patterns have never been used!! What a waste.

4. Or I could offer it on my blog to see if anyone wants any of it at a reduced price. Then I'll put it on ebay! Solution.... maybe. We'll just have to see.

I will post pictures of the things. If you want any item/items just email me at and give me your address so I can get them in the mail. I will include a bill and my address in the package. All items mailed overseas, the postage will be adjusted accordingly.

And, if the things aren't bought by Sept. 1st,  I will put them on ebay.

No sale there, then it will go into the trash.

I will start posting the items. It will take more than one post, I assure you. So start browsing, tell your blogger friends etc. I appreciate it.

It's Purple and Green.

One project finished and I am in the midst of completing another. Not that I am that fast, mind you. I already had a bunch done on this one and all it needed was for me to drag it out and set to work. Soon I will show you the quilt top.  It's a big one!

A Country Look

Talk about fooling around....

In years past this quilt top would have been finished in a blink of the eye... well, maybe not that quick but certainly quicker than I did.

The fabric was preprinted so why did it take me so long. But, ta da. Here it is all done.

I'll either throw it over a chair so I can use it to cover my legs when winter comes or
place it on the bottom of the bed so that my toesies don't get cold. They (the toes) tend to do that even in the heat of summer.
Happy Quilting,

What to do with buttons!

Yep, I am just like a bunch of other people....

Crazy about Pinterest!!

I saw a pin that I wanted to make for myself so I've been working on that.

The Pinterest version...............

My Version!!
Most of the buttons in mine are gold. Different look altogether! But, it's one way to put all those extra buttons to use.
